Her experience in the music industry began touring and recording music in from 1996 til 2001 as a rap artist. In the late 90s, she was a marketing director in the San Francisco Bay Area facilitating grass roots marketing & street team campaigns for major and independent record labels such as: Virgin Records, Warner Brothers, Rap-A-Lot-Records and Tommy Boy.
